Liposuction Beverly Hills
Liposuction is used today for body sculpting to make the person look more attractive and being able to get rid of excessive is not only a health concern for some people but it’s also a great confidence booster.
Liposuction is often used to remove areas where there’s an excessive of fat usually in the abdomen, hips, thighs and sometimes in the underarm.
Liposuction is often used by people who have been exercising and have been on a good diet but just can’t seem to get rid of stubborn excessive fat that doesn’t seem to go away no matter what your diet is and how often you work out.
For the trained plastic surgeon liposuction is a simple procedure where the patient is put under local anesthesia and a cannula is inserted through a tiny incision in the area where there’s excessive fat. The fat around that area is pushed and moved breaking up the fat then a small vacuum that’s attached to the cannula is used suction out the fat.
Today there are different types of liposuction performed:
Tumescent Liposuction is performed by using by using larger amounts of anesthesia and medications to reduce swelling, bleeding and post surgical pain. This is the most common type.
The wet technique is where the plastic surgeon injects the anesthetic directly into the surrounding area where the liposuction is to take place.
Ultrasonic Liposuction uses waves transmitted through the cannula to liquefy and break apart the fat. Once the fat cells have been liquid with the waves, the liquid is then suctioned out with a special vacuum attached to cannula.
A newer form of liposuction uses vibrations to break apart the fat then the fat is vacuumed out. The newer methods allow for faster recover and less pain.
As with all types of surgery your plastic surgeon needs to make sure that all safety measures in place and that they will be operating in a sterile environment.
